So your Florida-born kids have never seen snow?

Or your northern-born kids are missing the icy white stuff?

At the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium this month, you can make your own snow as part of the museum’s holiday program through January 4.

Start out at the snow-making event most mornings at 10:15 a.m., then progress to the science of snow, with “Crystals and Cryogenics,” “Atomic Ornaments” and “Geometric Snowflakes.”

While you’re there, tour “Afterlife:  Tombs and Treasure of Ancient Eypgt.”

Get hours and schedule at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium website.

On Friday, December 26, the monthly “Night at the Museum” becomes Sub Zero Night all about snow, with a snow planetarium show, sub-zero comet demo, frosty clouds and polymer snow.  From 6 to 9 p.m.
