More hands-on, minds-on science.
It’s what the latest expansion of the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium promises when it opens its renovated west wing Monday, the first phase of $1 million in improvements.
New exhibits include the first in Florida to explore the intersection of engineering and nanoscience, which is the world of atoms and molecules. The newly-imagined lighter and brighter space also includes the museum’s first Spanish bi-lingual exhibit.
Still more improvements are planned for later this spring, including an 18-hole science-themed mini-golf course and updates to the planetarium and observatory.
